Your Santos clobbered the Albuquerque Aardvarks 80 – 34 a couple weeks ago to end the Santos Home match schedule for the fall. I was unable to attend but some notes from relatively new player and recently appointed Team Secretary (to take over for Travis Hudson) Conner Hicks relayed some notes.
Starting 15:
Joseph Gallegos
Diego Cardiel
Lithgow (Jason, welcome back)
Jordan Demas
Enrique Salazar
Jason Osborne
Cap Ryan Weir
Stephen Falkner
Eli Naranjo
Jake Covington
Mateo Cardiel
Dane Rogbergs
Louis Pennings
Dan Allinder
Izzy Sanchez
Reserves:
Clayton
Hakob Enfiajyan
Chuy
Cole Smith
Isaiah C.
Charles Leak
The Aardvarks are continuing to rebuild, the days of Division 2 Runner ups are long gone but they are slowly making progress every game recently. Our Santos on the other hand have been on a bit of a roll, winning Santa Fe 10’s and their last home match against El Paso. The Santos at Home were too much for the Aardvarks this time with try scorers, Stephen (3), Mateo, Dane(3), Clayton, Izzy, Elijah(2), Louis. Cardiel, the thicker of the two, handled kicking duties with several conversions.
